So if you get away with your sins, and just a self-reproach is the maximum you suffer,

Is is justified, justified that there were no repercussions apart from a feeling of remorse?

And,

If you pay for your sins in kind (Noun);

And not a bit of regret, but you lose the world around you;

Is it justified?
